Already, the Nigeria Football Federation has assured Keshi of maximum support as Nigeria hopes for an historic outing in Brazil.
African champions, Nigeria, will start out against Iran before taking on debutant Bosnia and then end the group phase with a potential fiery clash against Argentina.
Keshi commented on the draws for the World Cup held last week in Brazil, declaring that contrary to views held by soccer fans in the country, Nigeria’s group F, which also has Argentina, Bosnia Herzegovina and Iran, was a very tough group.
While admitting that Nigeria has been handed a tough group at next year’s World Cup in Brazil, Super Eagles Coach, Stephen Keshi, however, declared that his team was in no way afraid of any of her group opponents.
Keshi says team’s group is a tough one
“It’s a tough group and those who understand football will know what I’m saying,” Keshi said. “But we are not scared, we will prepare well and see what happens at the tournament.”
