The Chief Magistrate, Ropo Adegboye, remanded the accused in prison pending the advice of the DPP.
The prosecutor said that the case file would be sent to the office of the Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP) for legal advice.
He said the accused person unlawfully shot and injured one Ige Beatrice as well as inflicted grievous harm on Tope Okeya, by causing fracture to his hand.
Mr. Osubu also said the accused persons were found in public place with firearms without lawful reason.
Mr. Adegboye adjourned the case to January 10, for further hearing.
The prosecutor said the offences contravened Sections 319 (1), 320 (2) of the Criminal Code of Ekiti, 2012.
The pleas of the accused persons were not taken.
The others are: Babalola Olomi, 47; Ayo Famojiro, 45; Peter Ilesanmi, 26; Kayode Adebayo, 33; Bayo Afolabi, 47; Alaba Molomo, 29; Taidi Yinusa, 30; and Victor Fagborila (20).
The prosecutor, Ojo Osubu, told the court that the accused committed the offence on November 3, at Emure-Ekiti in Emure Local government Area of Ekiti.
The Ekiti lawmaker was accused of killing Emure-Ekiti.
Mr. Osubu said the accused unlawfully caused the death of one Folusho Ogundare, when they were holding a meeting at Emure-Ekiti.
