D’banj launched Koko Gaari at One campaign launch
Pop singer, D’banj, unveiled the first product from his Koko Farm, Koko garri, on Thursday in Abuja.
The singer presented the packaged cassava flakes while speaking at the One Do Agric Campaign launch at the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja.
Koko gaari, which comes in in a blue and orange pack, is yet to hit the market.
Wizkid to guest star on Tinnie Tempah’s U.K. tour
EME and Star Boy Entertainment singer, Wizkid, will be the special guest on British rapper, Tinnie Tempah’s U.K. tour.
Tinnie Tempah revealed this on Thursday via Twitter.
“I’m excited to announce @wizkidayo as special guest for the Manchester Apollo shows and the London O2 Arena show in the UK tour!! Let’s Go,” he tweeted.
Wizkid reportedly has a U.K. management deal with Tinnie Tempah’s Disturbing London management company.
Celebrities storm Port Harcourt for Paul Okoye’s wedding
One of half of the pop duo, Psquare, Paul Okoye on Saturday, wed his long-time love, Anita Isama, in a traditional ceremony last Saturday.
The couple already have one son, Andre.
Celebrities at the nuptials included Nollywood stars, Omotola Jolade-Ekeinde, Funke Akindele and Ini Edo. Other guests were Julius Agwu, Iyanya, Uti Nwachukwu, 2Shotz, Naeto C, MI and Banky W.
The asoebi colours were blue and peach for the women, while the men wore white and green.
Half of a Yellow Sun, the movie, premieres on April 25 in Lagos
The movie adaptation of Chimamanda Adichie’s critically-acclaimed book, Half of a Yellow Sun, will premiere in Lagos on April 25.
Directed by Biyi Bandele, it stars Academy Award nominee, Chiwetel Ejiofor; British actress, Thandie Newton; as well as Genevieve Nnaji, Zack Orji, Gloria Young and Onyeka Onwenu.
The movie debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival in September, 2013 and in London at the BFI London Film Festival in October, 2013.
